Today I was reading How pumpkin got his name, this story is mostly about Porter Patterson and how he got his nickname, The were in a raft race they had to get into teams and use there raft to go down a river in a race, there team name is Turbo team they were versing one other team, when they started Porter chose to take the wide and the deep lane of the river, The other team started thronging tomatoes in porters face,
they took a short cut, instead of going on the river they walked and carried the raft to the finish line, they came first and bet the other team.

week 4 term 4
I haven't been keeping up with blog this term and last term so I thought I'd do it.
Today it was very quite compared to any other day because it was other learners turn to do pedal power, This morning Justin V and I made an iMovie for our foamy fountain presentation for iExplore, soon later it was iActive I was at capture the flag, at the beginning it was unfair because there was only one LH3 person in a team which was me and in the other team they had two LH3 and a learning coach, Am I right or am I right.

Kokako lodge camp
When I first got to the camp I was curious on which cabin I was in and what activities we would be doing, what i'm curious about in the end, how do glow worms work, what sort of insect is a glow worm.
I was connected to abseiling because I've seen a movie when people were abseiling or doing that sort of thing.
when we were doing the activities, I was collaborative because on some of the activities we had to encourage each other and had use team work to keep the flow going.
When my group was capable doing activities we did the high ropes, the high ropes looked pretty scary but I did it anyway, my group was also capable of coming second in the great pancake race even though we started last, our team also won quiz night with 86 points and 2 bonus points, My group and I were capable of walking five hours up the hill (I call it killer hill), it was hard to cope with since I have asthma, I also conquered my fear of heights on abseiling I was also the first one in my group to do abseiling.

Today was like any other Tuesday, we started the day off with a waiata Hui, first we sang the national anthem and then the song of the term firework Katty perry, My favourite part of the day was iActive because I got caught being oresome and because I could teach younger learners how to cartwheel and handstands and I got to play with them.

Olympics.
What sport would You Represent NZ in?
I wold represent NZ in shot put because I really like the game and one of my favourite role models is Valerie Adams because I looked up to her.
What do you think that could help you to do your best?
Something I think that would help me is just support and a good encouraging coach.
What sport would you add to the Olympics ?
I think I will add dodgeball because I've always been good at that and I enjoy the game.
Who would you send to the Olypics and why?
I would send my brother (Micah) because he's good at skating and always use to beat me when we were racing at the skating rink.

Reflection for 10th August 2016
Today was like any other day, My most favourite thing today was the relays and Simon says, the people that went before us were exhausted, it wasn't that bad, the one thing I mostly despised is practising the Ti Kanga Maori because we kept on mucking up and hitting each other on accident and the one person we needed the most wasn't there unfortunately she was at the senior college.
Today it was against the bypass kings in dodgeball everybody thought they were going to win but they stand correct, we won all because of team work and me because I got the last person out.
Thank you for reading ;)

What: today was great, shattering and literally breathe taking.
So What: The great part today was the knowledge groups because we got to learn about place value and what the values of the places, the shattering part was when we had to do a beep test, the beep test is a test depending on your fitness levels my level was 2.4, the last person standing was Zavier, the breathe taking part was kind of the same part of the shattering part because I have astma and I couldn't breathe my inhaler in because my throught wouldn't let me breathe it felt like it was blocked and so I had a drink of water.
Now What: My next steps are to work on my fitness so next time I can at least get a higher level, and to be more capable in my maths activites

Ti kanga Maori performance practice
Today the 23rd of June 2016 was the practice day for the performance in front of the wholes school
I decided to be in Charlizes group because I knew she was going to do the poi and because she's my friend,Kimba-jo was to late on picking a team so she had to be in our group, she was also begging to get out of this group.
We were just doing the basics for starters like catching the poi and bouncing the poi from hand to hand and swing the poi around the body, the boys struggled with the moves so Charlize and I split up and taught the boy how to do this and how to do that.

Reflection on week 6
Talofa lava
Last week was great especially the Infrencing workshop I thought that was a cool workshop,
I also learnt that you inference with songs, the song our group listened to was called Titanium,
I thought the song was about people criticising a person and feeling bad.
The reason why I said talofa lava beacause last week was Samoan language week
on Samoan language week you do can talk Samoan or sing a Samoan song.
Thank you for reading my reflection

iReflect for 31st of May
At the taking notes workshop I learnt to take notes obviously, it was awesome.
My favourite part of the workshop was when we got into two lines and talk to the person opposite you, and tell them what you learnt from the workshop.
I felt good because there wasn't that much people at the workshop, if there was there was heaps of people it would be stuffy and you wouldn't have as much room, and it wasn't stressful but calm because with people use to being with normally.
My next learning steps are to be more curious and ask questitions when I get stuck,
And to be Collaborative with other learners.

iReflect 10th May 2016
Today was a great day but sometime's today I asked myself what could I do next time to be more successful, at Ormiston primary 1st soccer tournament, I was so exited and so nervous (because I was captain and I didn't know what to do and I might get hurt) at the same time.
We played really well and supported each other and gave it our all.
